Lewys Nicholas
“My time at The College Merthyr Tydfil was really enjoyable. Through accessing the rugby programme, it increased my motivation and enjoyment for the sport. I studied A-Levels at the college, and the training and matches were organised well, so I didn’t miss lessons. The teaching and support were first class, and my tutor Delme signposted to the WRU Apprenticeship scheme.
This was the best decision I ever made and following my apprenticeship, I am now a Hub Officer in Afon Taf High School. In my role I have the opportunity to work with the college, and it is great to give something back as they have been so supporting and encouraging.”
